Day 01: Cairo
Cairo (no meals) Arrive to Cairo International Airport meet and assist through the immigration formalities. Transfer to your hotel at Cairo, check-in hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.
Day 02: Cairo / Aswan
After breakfast, you will meet your Egyptologist guide at the hotel to start a full day tour in Cairo. You will discover the pyramids of Giza and the famous Sphinx. Your tour will end with a visit to the royal burial ground during the old kingdom "Sakkara" you will visit the first proper pyramid built for king Zoser in the 27th century B.C by the architect Imhotep. After a full day in Cairo, you will be escorted to the Giza railway station to board the 1st class sitting train to Aswan. Overnight on board.
Day 03: Aswan
You will arrive to Aswan in the morning and be transferred to your Nile cruise where you will embark before lunch. Visit the high Dam passing by the old Aswan Dam & Philae Temples and Felucca rides around the Botanical gardens. Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 04: Kom-Ombo & Edfu
Early morning sail to Kom- Ombo. In Kom Ombo, visit the temple of Sobek and Haroeris, the magnificent Ptolemaic temple is in awe-inspiring setting on high ground by the Nile surrounded by sugarcane fields, dedicated jointly to Haroeris, the medicine god, and Sobek, the crocodile god. Lunch on board. Relax and admire the beautiful scenery along the Nile while sailing to Edfu. In Edfu, you will visit the temple of Horus, the falcon headed god. Then back on board and sail to Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 05: Luxor
Breakfast and free morning, lunch on board. In the afternoon depart for visits of the East Bank of Luxor, including the Luxor & Karnak temples. Then relax in the Nile Cruise or you can walk through history, ride on a horse-drawn carriage, sail in a felucca, or explore the city of mysteries. Dinner & Overnight on board.
Day 06: Luxor / Cairo
Breakfast & check out. Then depart for visits of the West Bank of Luxor, including the Colossi of Memnon, Temple of Queen Hatchepsut, Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Kings. Then you will be escorted to the Luxor railway station to board the 1st class sitting train to Cairo. Overnight on board.
Day 07: Cairo
Breakfast, then you will meet your guide to start a full day tour to visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses about 250.000 antique pieces including the statues, sarcophagi & the fabulous treasures of Tutankhamun, and then drive to visit the Citadel of Saladin with the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali. Then to the famous Khan El Khalili bazaar (Since the 14th century). Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Cairo / Dahab
(B) Early morning breakfast & check out and transfer to Cairo bus station to catch the bus departing to Dahab. Upon arrival in Dahab meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for check in. Rest of the day free at leisure exploring one of the most beautiful places in Egypt due to its golden sand, clear water & colorful marine life. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Dahab
(B) After breakfast, by jeep passing through the rugged mountain terrain to the Canyon. Upon arrival the local guide will lead you through some of the many walkways where you can admire the superb array of colours and shapes. Then we drive to the most beautiful oasis in Sinai, Ain Khudra & exploring its many varieties of palm trees, shrubs, springs & enjoying the Bedouin lunch. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Dahab
(B) Breakfast, rest of day free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Dahab / Saint Catherine
Breakfast. Morning free at leisure. In the late evening, you will be transferred to Saint Catherine, At night you can climb the mountain to enjoy the sunrise from one of the highest summits of Sinai.
Day 12: Saint Catherine / Dahab
(B) Upon your decent you will visit St. Catherines Monastery, its construction dates back to the 14th century A.D. It lies on the foothills of Moses' mountains, and then you will be transferred back to Dahab and Overnight.
Day 13: Dahab / Cairo
(B) Breakfast. Then you will be transferred to Dahab bus station to catch the bus back to Cairo, upon arrival meet and transfer to your hotel in Cairo for overnight.
Day 14: Cairo
(B) After breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo international airport for the final departure (End of Services). |
