Day 01: Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted & assisted by one of Egypt Unexpected tours representatives with formalities through customs & transfer by private mini van to the selected hotel. Check-in & Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Cairo
(B) After breakfast, you will meet your Egyptologist guide at the hotel to start a full day tour in Cairo. You will discover the pyramids of Giza and the famous Sphinx. Your tour will end with a visit to the royal burial ground during the old kingdom "Sakkara" you will visit the first proper pyramid built for king Zoser in the 27th century B.C by the architect Imhotep. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Cairo
(B) After breakfast, you will meet your guide to start a full day tour to visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses about 250.000 antique pieces including the statues, sarcophagi & the fabulous treasures of Tutankhamun, and then drive to visit the Citadel of Saladin with the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali. Then to the famous Khan El Khalili bazaar (Since the 14 century).Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Cairo / Marsa Matrouh / Siwa Oasis
(B) Transfer to Cairo bus station, catch the A/C Bus to Marsa Matrouh, leaves at 6:45 AM arrive at 12:30 PM, catch the next bus to Siwa Oasis leaves at 1:30 PM, arrive to Siwa, meet our representative, check-in and overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Siwa Oasis
(B) Breakfast, then start your tour in Siwa to visit the mountain of the dead (Gabel El Mawta), the Oracle temple (the Prophecy temple), the old town, Shali and Amoun Om Obyida temple. In the afternoon drive by 4x4 jeep to Bir Wahid (Wheel no.01) in the middle of the sand dunes of the great sand sea, watch the sun set and bath in the hot water then drive back to our hotel for Overnight.
Day 06: Siwa Oasis
(B) Breakfast, day free at leisure or you can cycle in Siwa to explore the fascinating Oasis, or you can take a cart with a donkey to go to Fetnas Island to watch a wonderful sunset. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Siwa Oasis / Cairo
Breakfast, catch the bus to Matrouh leaves at 10:00AM, arrive at 2:00PM, and catch the next bus to Cairo leaves at 5:30PM. Upon arrival meet our representative then transfer to your hotel in Cairo.
Day 08: Cairo
(B) After breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo international airport for the final departure (End of Services). |
